Rod Woodson


The five remaining contestants on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, Amanda Arlauskas (Butler, New Jersey), Danny Cahill (Broken Arrow, Oklahoma), Rudy Pauls (Brooklyn, Connecticut), Allen Smith ( Columbus, Indiana) and Liz Young ( Chapel Hill, Tennesee), will be getting some great Professional training on this Tuesday’s show ( November 24).

Rod Woodson Super Bowl Champion, will be setting them on a NFL challenge as part of the show. They will also be learning some healthy budget tricks from Suze Orman.

Roderick Kevin “Rod” Woodson was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1965. He is a former American Defensive back and completed a 10 year run with the Pittsburgh Steelers , also being a key player in the Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl XXXV, championship season

He once played for the San Fransisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders, wearing number 26 throughout his career.

He stands as one of the best defensive backs in NFL history. From his simple beginnings as a Boilermaker in Purdue, he climbed to the top of his field, holding a record for career interception return yardage (1.483) interception returns for touchdowns (12) and was also named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1993.

Woodson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2009.

The Biggest Loser is shown in 90 countries and produced in 25. It’s debut in 2004, began it’s climb to become it’s own standalone health and lifestyle brand.
